My earliest published photographs were taken for a small postcard company based in Yorkshire. Those first images, now long faded or lost to time, were modest in ambition, yet they quietly laid the foundations for what would become a lifelong journey. What began as a hobby, something I pursued simply for the pleasure of making pictures, gradually grew into a reliable source of income and, eventually, a defining part of my identity.<\/h3>\r\n

Not long after those early assignments, I was fortunate enough to secure a commission to photograph towns, villages, and seaside resorts across the UK. It was an extraordinary opportunity for a young photographer: the chance to travel, to observe, and to document the character of places that many people only ever pass through. Three decades later, I still feel the same sense of satisfaction each time I lift a camera to my eye. The landscapes have changed, and so have I, but the pleasure of capturing a place, its mood, its light, its quiet details, remains undiminished.<\/h3>\r\n

The images that follow are more than a record of locations. They are markers of memory, each one tied to a moment, a journey, or a feeling. Together, they trace a lifetime spent travelling the length and breadth of the UK, for both work and pleasure, and they remind me how fortunate I have been to witness so much of this country through the lens.<\/h3>\r\n
