British Film Institute Launches Bradford-WWI Film School<\/p>\n

Leading figures from the UK and Indian film industry gathered at the British Film Institute in London on Tuesday 11th June for the official launch of a collaboration with a top Bollywood Film School Whistling Woods International<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Subhash Ghai, Founder and Chairman, Whistling Woods International said, \u201cWe have always wanted our Film School to be one of the finest in the world. I am glad we have achieved this in terms of technology, educational environments, courses, faculty and the leading methodology. I am sure this partnership is going to benefit UK students to connect with the Indian Film Industry, as well as the British Film Industry. I am sure this will benefit all of us!\u201d<\/p>\n

Commenting on the exciting partnership, Trevor Griffiths, \u201cI feel really honoured as the first Director of Bradford Film School. It\u2019s amazing that it was only six years ago that I took my first tentative steps in India and less than a year ago we signed the contract to work long term with Whistling Woods. The speed in which things have happened has been really satisfying. In September we will open our doors to our first cohort of students \u2013 and provide a world class teaching and learning facility!\u201d<\/p>\n
